Delivery, Policy, Procedures and Guidelines

CellarDrive supports the Responsible Service of Alcohol NSW Liquor Act 2007 and will not sell or deliver to, persons under the age of 18. An approved proof of age document will be requested for validation at the time of delivery.

Approved Proof of age documents to be sighted include only the following:

  • A current Australian or International Drivers Licence
  • A current Australian or International Passport
  • A Current NSW RTA Proof of Age Card or interstate equivalent

We ensure that alcohol deliveries are not made to intoxicated individuals.

CellarDrive exclusively employs authorized and certified Delivery Agents/Drivers and delivery organizations such as Australia Post Couriers to manage all of our deliveries. Australia Post's extensive reach and infrastructure make them our preferred delivery partners, ensuring that authorized, safe, and convenient deliveries comply with the Responsible Service of Alcohol under the NSW Liquor Act 2007.

DELIVERY ZONES and Restrictions

  • All parts of Australia except the following as outlined below.
  • Delivery of alcohol in the following areas are prohibited or restricted, please check with management if uncertain:
  • Public places in designated alcohol-free zones
  • The following restricted dry zone postcodes:
  • Queensland 4605, 4713, 4816, 4825, 4830, 4871, 4874, 4875, 4876, 4891, 4892, 4895
  • Western Australia 6430, 6431, 6435, 6436, 6437, 6438, 6440, 6635, 6638, 6639, 6640, 6641, 6642, 6710, 6713, 6714, 6716, 6718, 6751, 6754, 6798, 6799, 6765, 6718, 6723, 6725, 6726, 6728, 6731, 6733, 6740, 6743, 6753, 6761, 6765, 6770
  • South Australia 5723, 5724, 5734, 5680, 5690
  • Northern Territory: We do not deliver to the Northern Territory
  • New South Wales 2898, 2899

 NOTE: Restricted zones may change from time to time due to changes in local and state requirements, this this document will change periodically as required, so all staff are required to review this document on a monthly basis or as instructed by CellarDrive management.

 If the authorised customer has ticked the 'Authority to Leave' box in the checkout section, in some circumstances delivery service/person has the authority to decide against leaving the order unattended without penalty from CellarDrive. This may occur if:

 Someone was home but did not have acceptable Proof of Age documents

  1. Driver was concerned as to the security of your order or due to minors in the vicinity

 In these circumstances, a card will be left in your letterbox with instructions for you to pick up from your local Post Office.
